Taylor 512e 12-Fret V-Class

We absolutely love this guitar! Can I say that again? We really really love this instrument. From the minute you strum your first chord the guitar just sings but let's just step back. The minute you open the case and see the gorgeous Western Red Cedar contrasting against the plush red lining of the case your mouth drops open. That paired with the slotted headstock and beautifully stripped mahogany back and sides and you have a stunner in your hands.
The clarity is there as we all expect from out Taylors and the warmth and roundness follows. This is a great finger picker clearly but she really did pop with a good strum as well. The cedar top allows the sound to push out a bit more than the mahogany top bretheran of this line without getting too "snappy." We really do love cedar around here and the possibilities it presents. This little box somehow still has the treble in her without losing that cut through to the cedar, mahogany, and smaller size that this guitar would bely.
Do yourself the favor and if you have the chance, get your hands on this little gem. We may have found one of our favorite new guitars from the insane minds at Taylor.
