Just off the boat from Ireland this brand New Wee Lowden is a stunner and packs quite the wallop for its small size! Made of top grade Western Red Cedar and Indian Rosewood this instrument is a delight to hold and a sonic feast for the ears. In a blind taste test we could not tell the difference between this and many a full sized instrument.
The tone is truly huge and the size of the neck is immensely comfortable!
The history of how the Wee Lowden came to be was when a particularly famous ginger redhead needed one of these beautiful instruments but wanted one that was, shall we...a bit more sized to his build. Thus George created a whole new bracing pattern and build to allow for the "Lowden" sound within a small box.
