D'Angelico Excel 59

D'Angelico

Perhaps James & Baxters favorite of the D'angelicos, this arch top equipped with P-90s is a tone powerhouse. We love this guitar! The look, the feel, and the sound comes together to make a great musical vehicle and we are thrilled to have it here for all to hear.

Sunburst Finish.

A throwback to a time defined by its style, the Excel 59 was originally designed by John D'Angelico in 1959. Returning as a modern option for a vast range of players, the 59 is a 17-inch-wide archtop equipped with P-90s -- ideal for indie rock, jazz with a bite, and every inventive style in between. Featuring retro cream knobs, a chicken-head rotary pickup selector, and D'Angelico's signature Stairstep tailpiece, the 59 is incomparable in vibe.
